Tripod Lashing

Cooking stew or chili with a dutch oven can be simplified with using a tripod over the fire. Just make sure the flames are not large enough to burn your dinner and your newly created tripod to the ground! Use some wooden dowels and jute to practice your lashings before camp. Another fun camp gadget you can make with the tripod lashing a stool to sit on.

To complete the tripod lashing, you must first have 3 poles and rope.
