Self Hardening Clay

  • 4 Cups Flour

  • 1 1/2 Cups Salt

  • 1 1/2 Cups Water

  1. Mix the salt and flour in a bowl

  2. Add water to gradually make a ball

  3. Complete your project and allow it to dry at room temperature for about 2 days.

  4. Paint your project if desired.

  5. Store your unused clay in a sealed bag in the refrigerator. Allow to warm back up to room temperature before using again.

With St. Patrick’s Day being a couple of days away, we added green food coloring to the clay as it was mixing. Green not your color, no problem. You can add any color that you would like of food grade dye. Or if planning on painting your clay project, simply keep it natural and don’t add any coloring. Note, this clay will dry out extremely fast.
